MINTIMES GP, also known as the MINTIMESGT ASIA Series, is a premier intercontinental GT racing series primarily held in Asia. Organized by the Mintimes Group, asubsidiary of Geely Holding Group, and the Sepang International Circuit, the series is exclusively promoted and operated by Beijing Mintimes SportsIndustry Investment Co. The championship is designed to follow the global trend of GT racing and features multiplecategories including GT3, GT4, and GTC, accommodating a wide range of supercars from renowned manufacturers. The series attractsboth professional and amateur drivers, with classifications such as Pro, Am, and Pro/Am, and welcomes participation from both manufacturerand club teams. The inaugural season included races at well-known circuits in China, Malaysia, and Indonesia, demonstrating the series' ambition to provide a competitive platform for GT teams across the Asian region and to elevatethe international profile of motorsport in China. The race weekends typically consist of two official practice sessions, two15-minute qualifying sessions, and two 60-minute main races, offering a format that combines intense, fast-paced action with strategic team collaboration.
