Asian Formula Renault Series Overview

The Asian Formula Renault Series is a long-established motorsport event that has become an important platform for driver development in Asia and globally since its inception in 2000. The series is famous for its state-of-the-art Formula Renault 2.0 race car, designed by Renault Sport and equipped with a 4-cylinder, 16-valve 1998cc engine with a maximum horsepower of 210, maximum torque of 220 Nm, and a maximum speed of 7,500 rpm. not only is the series held at renowned circuits in a number of countries in Asia, such as the Zhuhai International Circuit and the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, but it also provides a stage for young drivers to showcase their talents. In addition to providing a stage for young drivers to showcase their talents, many of them have gone on to higher stages of motorsports, including Formula 1, through their participation in the Asian Formula Renault Series. In addition, the series has also partnered with the Renault F1 Team to provide young Chinese drivers with access to Formula 1 through the Road to the Championship Scholarship Program.
