Thailand Super Series Returns to Bangsaen Street Circuit for Iconic 2025 Grand Prix

News & Announcements Thailand Bangsaen Street Circuit June 30

Bangsaen, Thailand – July 2–6, 2025 – Thailand’s most prestigious motorsport event, the Thailand Super Series (TSS), is set to make a spectacular return to the streets of Bangsaen this July, bringing with it a mix of high-octane racing, international flair, and beachside excitement. As the second round of the 2025 season, the Bangsaen Grand Prix promises to be one of the highlights of the year, with thousands of motorsport fans expected to descend on Chonburi’s famous seaside resort town.

The 2025 Bangsaen round, held from Wednesday, July 2 to Sunday, July 6, will feature the full suite of TSS categories, including GT3, GT4, GTC, Touring Car, and Pickup classes, alongside major support series such as the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, the Toyota Vios Lady Cup, and the F4 SEA Championship.

“Bangsaen isn’t just a race — it’s a celebration of Thai motorsport culture, and 2025 will be our most international edition yet,” said a TSS spokesperson during a recent press briefing in Bangkok.

This year marks the first full season of TSS under its new strategic partnership with SRO Motorsports Group, aligning the series with global GT3 and GT4 standards. The collaboration introduces standardized Balance of Performance (BoP) and official Pirelli tire supply across top categories, enhancing competitiveness and attracting international teams and drivers.

The Bangsaen Street Circuit, a 3.7-kilometer FIA Grade 3 track carved through the city’s beachfront roads, has long been regarded as one of the most challenging and thrilling circuits in Southeast Asia. With 19 tight corners, high-speed straights, and unforgiving barriers, it tests both driver precision and bravery. First held in 2007, the Grand Prix has evolved into Thailand’s answer to Monaco — a glamorous, high-stakes street race with its own unique character.

Notable entries this year include Thai favorites Sandy Stuvik, “Kiki” Sak Nana, and Kantadhee Kusiri, as well as international talents like Karol Basz and drivers from Porsche’s Asia series. Teams such as B-Quik Absolute Racing, AAS Motorsport, and Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand are expected to field full-strength lineups.

The event will be broadcast live across multiple platforms, with commentary in English, Thai, Mandarin, and German, aiming to expand the global audience for Southeast Asia’s premier GT championship.

Beyond the racetrack, fans can look forward to concerts, car shows, and a festival atmosphere stretching along the Bangsaen beachfront — a unique fusion of motorsport and lifestyle rarely seen in the region.
