The 2025 FIA Formula 4 China Championship Technical Rules cover many aspects to ensure the fairness, safety and standardization of the event.

  1. Definitions and Basic Rules: Clarify the definitions of terms related to the event, stipulate that the FIA is responsible for formulating the rules, and announce the revisions in December each year. The car must always comply with the rules, and the measurement should be carried out in a static horizontal state. The participating vehicles must have a technical passport and a chassis test report, and only certified F4 cars can participate.

  2. Car Specifications and Requirements: Strict regulations are made on the body size, weight, power unit, pipelines and fuel tanks, electrical systems, etc. of the car, such as the size restrictions of various parts of the body, engine types and specifications, electrical system safety standards, etc., to ensure the performance and safety of the car.

  3. Safety Equipment and Structure: Detailed specifications for the safety equipment of the car, including the installation and performance requirements of fire extinguishers, main switches, rearview mirrors, seat belts, etc.; strict testing and specification of the safety structures such as the survival unit and anti-roll structure of the car to ensure the safety of the driver.

  4. Testing and Certification: Specifies the specific methods and standards for impact testing, roll-over testing and static load testing of racing cars to ensure the safety and reliability of the racing car structure; the safety structure must be approved by the FIA, and the manufacturer must apply for and accept supervisory testing in accordance with the procedures.
