Rikuto Kobayashi is a rising star in Japanese motorsports. Born on July 1, 2005, in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, this young driver has quickly made a name for himself in both the virtual and real racing worlds. Kobayashi is a member of the TGR (Toyota Gazoo Racing) Driver Challenge Program, highlighting his potential and the support he receives from Toyota.

Kobayashi's career took off in the F4 Japanese Championship. After finishing 6th in 2022, he dominated the 2023 season, securing the championship title. This victory propelled him into the higher echelons of Japanese racing. In 2024, he stepped up to Super Formula Lights with TOM'S, demonstrating his adaptability and skill by achieving multiple podiums and wins. Simultaneously, Kobayashi ventured into the Super GT series, competing in the GT300 class. Initially with apr, he later joined CarGuy MKS Racing, piloting a Ferrari 296 GT3 alongside Zak O'Sullivan.

Beyond real-world racing, Kobayashi has also showcased his talent in esports. In 2021, he finished 3rd in the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup and competed in the Gran Turismo World Series Showdown.
