Sandy Mitchell, born on March 7, 2000, is a highly accomplished British racing driver hailing from Forfar, Scotland. Currently competing in the British GT Championship and GT World Challenge Europe, Mitchell's career began at the tender age of four with an off-road buggy, igniting a passion for motorsports inspired by rally legend Colin McRae. Progressing through the ranks, he quickly made a name for himself in karting, securing the NSKC Honda Cadet Championship in 2009. His talent continued to shine as he clinched the Super 1 National Rotax Max Junior championship in 2014, paving the way for a transition to single-seater racing in the MSA Formula Championship in 2015.

Mitchell's transition to sports car racing in 2016 marked another pivotal moment, joining Ecurie Ecosse in the British GT Championship's GT4 class. His impressive performance led to two class victories, ultimately securing third place in the GT4 championship. In 2018, he joined Barwell Motorsport for the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup season. Prior to the 2021 season, Mitchell's talent was recognized by Lamborghini, leading to his signing as a factory driver, becoming one of the youngest in their stable. He is currently an FIA Platinum rated driver.

Throughout his career, Mitchell has achieved significant milestones, including winning the British GT Championship in 2020. Driving a Lamborghini Huracan Evo GT3, he has reached speeds of up to 190 mph. A highlight of his career includes topping the podium at the Spa 24 Hours endurance racing event in Belgium. With numerous wins, podium finishes, and fastest laps to his name, Sandy Mitchell continues to be a formidable force in the world of GT racing.
