Kobe Pauwels, born on October 23, 2004, is a Belgian racing driver with a diverse background in motorsports. Hailing from Diest, Belgium, Pauwels began his racing journey in karting at the age of ten, following in the footsteps of his father, Koen, who competed in rallycross. He quickly made a name for himself, securing the title of Belgian Junior Champion in rallycross in 2019 during his first season. He followed this up by becoming the national vice-champion in the senior category and later the European RX3 vice-champion in 2021. In 2023, he clinched the Euro RX3 champion title.
Transitioning from rallycross, Pauwels has ventured into circuit racing, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. In 2023, he participated in TCR Europe, driving an Audi RS3 LMS for Comtoyou Racing. He quickly adapted to the touring car scene, securing multiple victories and demonstrating his potential on the asphalt. He also made his GT3 debut that year with Comtoyou Racing at the Nürburgring, driving an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II. Pauwels has continued to expand his racing horizons, participating in events such as the Michelin 24H Series Middle East Trophy and the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe.
In 2024, Pauwels competed in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe, including Endurance events, with Comtoyou Racing, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3. He also participated in the Intercontinental GT Challenge with the team, piloting an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo. Demonstrating his continued growth, Pauwels is currently competing in the Michelin 24H Series Middle East Trophy - GT3 with Comtoyou Racing in 2025, driving an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo.
