Nobuteru Taniguchi, born on May 18, 1971, in Hiroshima, Japan, is a highly accomplished Japanese racing driver and prominent figure in the world of drifting. Nicknamed "NOB" (No One Better), he has built a remarkable career spanning various disciplines of motorsport, earning him significant recognition in Japan and internationally.

Taniguchi's journey began unconventionally, honing his skills on public mountain roads, drifting his Toyota AE86. He transitioned from street racing to professional drifting, winning the inaugural D1 Grand Prix series in 2001 with the HKS Nissan Silvia S15. This victory catapulted him into the spotlight and paved the way for a successful career in circuit racing.

Transitioning to circuit racing, Taniguchi has achieved significant success in the Super GT series, securing three GT300 class championship titles. He also boasts an impressive record in the Super Taikyu Endurance Series, with eight class championship titles, including six consecutive wins with the Petronas Syntium Team.
