Masaki KANO

Masaki Kano, born on February 4, 1976, in Osaka, Japan, is a seasoned Japanese auto racing driver currently competing in the Super GT series. Kano's racing journey began in karting from 1991 to 1994, followed by attending the Winfield Racing School in France in 1995. He honed his skills in the Japanese Super Taikyu Series, finishing ninth in 2006 and improving to third in 2007.

Kano made his Super GT debut in 2012 in the GT300 class with JLOC. He then raced for Arnage Racing from 2013 to 2022, achieving a podium finish and scoring 19 points in 2013. In 2023, he joined R'Qs Motor Sports. Also in 2023, Kano achieved significant success in the GT World Challenge Asia, driving a BMW M4 GT4 for YZ Racing with Studie Team alongside Manabu Orido. The team secured six race wins and ultimately won the GT4 class championship and the Japan Cup title. Kano has a total of 13 podiums across 30 races.

Standing at 173cm tall and weighing 70kg, Kano has established himself as a respected competitor in the Japanese racing scene, showcasing his talent and determination in both Super GT and GT World Challenge Asia.
