Charlie Luck

Charlie Luck is an American racing driver with a career spanning several decades, marked by both early success and a later-in-life return to the sport. He initially made his mark in NASCAR's Busch Series (now Xfinity Series) in the 1980s, accumulating 106 starts between 1982 and 1986. Although a race win eluded him, Luck secured five top-five finishes and 38 top-ten finishes, with two runner-up results and two ninth-place points finishes in 1984 and 1986. At the age of 26, he stepped away from racing to focus on his family business, Luck Stone, which he has since grown into a multi-state operation.

In 2017, Luck rekindled his passion for racing, returning to the sport and working his way up the ranks in Porsche racing. Currently, he competes in the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS for Wright Motorsports, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 R in the Pro-Am class alongside co-driver Jan Heylen. The pairing has proven highly competitive, with early success including a sweep at Sonoma. Beyond his on-track endeavors, Luck emphasizes the importance of relationships within his race team.
