Keita Sawa

Keita Sawa, born on August 16, 1976, is a highly accomplished Japanese racing driver with a career spanning various disciplines, including GT racing and endurance events. Sawa's early career saw him rise through the ranks of open-wheel racing, clinching the Formula 4 Japan West championship in 1999. He then progressed to the Japanese Formula 3 Championship before transitioning to GT racing in 2002.

Sawa quickly established himself in the GT scene, achieving significant success in the Japanese GT Championship (JGTC), now known as Super GT. He secured multiple podiums and race wins, showcasing his talent behind the wheel of various GT cars. His career highlights include winning the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia in 2011 and triumphing in the Macau GT Cup twice, in 2009 and 2010. He also won the Asian Le Mans Series GT class in 2016.

In recent years, Sawa has been a prominent figure in international GT racing, participating in series such as the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). He has also been involved with ABSSA Motorsport, a team he established, competing in the Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia. Known for his versatility and adaptability, Keita Sawa continues to be a respected and competitive force in the world of motorsports.
