Lilou Wadoux

Lilou Wadoux, born on April 10, 2001, in Amiens, France, has rapidly ascended the ranks of motorsport to become a prominent figure in the racing world. Beginning her competitive journey relatively late at age 14 with karting, Wadoux transitioned to car racing in 2017 and quickly made a name for herself in various one-make series, including the Peugeot 208 Racing Cup and the Alpine Elf Europa Cup. Her early career was marked by consistent performances and a clear aptitude for closed-wheel racing.

Wadoux's career took a significant leap when she entered endurance racing, joining the Richard Mille Racing Team in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2022. That same year, she became the first woman to drive a Hypercar. In 2023, she achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first female factory driver for Ferrari Competizioni GT. Partnering with Alessio Rovera and Luis Pérez Companc, she secured a groundbreaking victory at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in the LMGTE Am class, marking the first win by a female driver in the FIA WEC since its inception in 2012. In 2024, Wadoux demonstrated her versatility by competing in Japan's Super GT series and the IMSA SportsCar Championship in America, achieving notable results such as a second-place finish in Super GT at the Sugo 300 km and a class victory at the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen in IMSA.

As of March 2025, Wadoux continues to make waves in the racing scene. She participates in the Japanese Super GT series with Ponos Racing and competes in the IMSA – Endurance Cup with AF Corse. Despite facing challenges such as a technical issue at the 12 Hours of Sebring, where her team demonstrated race-leading pace, Wadoux remains a formidable competitor with a promising future. Her achievements have not only set personal milestones but have also inspired the next generation and promoted greater female involvement in motorsports.
