Xu Chong

Xu Lang, born on November 11, 1976 in Wuyi, Zhejiang, is a famous Chinese rally driver, known for his outstanding racing talent and achievements. In 2000, he officially entered the racing field by attending a three-day racing driver training course, and then emerged in many domestic and international competitions. Xu Lang has participated in the National Rally Championship, the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship and the Dakar Rally many times, and set the best result of Chinese drivers in the 2005 Dakar Rally, ranking 19th. This record is still regarded as a milestone in the Chinese racing industry. However, on June 17, 2008, Xu Lang died in a rescue accident during the Cross-East Cross-Country Rally. He was only 32 years old. His death became a huge loss to the Chinese racing industry, but his achievements and spirit in the field of racing are still widely remembered.
