Francis Tjia is an active driver in the field of racing. On April 7, 2005, he participated in the Asian Formula Renault test drive at the Shanghai Circuit; on September 15, 2007, he participated in the 2007 Xinfei Pan-Pearl River Delta Super Racing Festival Autumn Race. On October 18, 2020, he drove the Audi R8 LMS GT3 for the first time and partnered with the famous Chinese driver Cheng Congfu to appear in the final battle of the 2020 CEC China Automobile Endurance Championship at the Ningbo International Circuit. In the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, his OpenRoad Racing team has had different performances.
