About Rob Walker

Rob Walker, born January 24, 1970, is an American racing driver currently competing in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge - Grand Sport and IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge - GSX series. Walker has one win and eleven podium finishes in 61 races started. He secured one pole position and achieved one fastest lap.

Walker's racing career highlights include winning three of the SCCA's highest awards: the John McGill Award, the Dave Morrell Memorial Award, and the Woolf Barnato Award. He has been a respected member and chairman of the Competition Board (now the Club Racing Board) and served on the Court of Appeals, including as its chairman, for over 20 years. His technical knowledge and ability to navigate the political aspects of the sport have earned him widespread respect within the racing community. Walker continues to participate in racing as both a driver and an event steward.

Beyond his driving achievements, Rob Walker is recognized for his contributions to developing racing classes and his foresight in advancing motor racing vehicle technology.
