Renato Loberto

Renato Loberto is an Australian racing driver and highly respected performance driving instructor. Born and raised in Brisbane, Loberto's passion for motorsport ignited at the age of four after attending the Formula One Grand Prix in Adelaide with his father. He began racing open-wheel cars at 15, quickly demonstrating natural talent. Loberto impressed in various open-wheel and sports car competitions across Australia. However, his burgeoning career faced a setback in 1999 when a severe motorcycle accident resulted in significant injuries, including nerve damage that temporarily impaired the use of his left arm.

After a period of recovery and the completion of studies in Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology, Loberto bravely returned to racing, achieving podium finishes in sports and production car events. In 2002, he faced another major health challenge when diagnosed with testicular cancer. Following surgery and chemotherapy, he made a full recovery and resumed his motorsport endeavors. He has competed in GT3, GTC, Ferrari Challenge, Radical Sportscars, Clio Cup, and Mini Challenge. In 2008, Renato pursued professional racing in the UK.

Loberto is known for his adaptability, work ethic, professionalism, and sportsmanship. He is the founder and director of MotoKinetic, a consultancy providing services to the automotive and motorsports industries. He also works as a performance driving instructor and racing coach. Furthermore, his extensive knowledge and media experience have led to TV commentary and hosting roles.
