Lachlan Mineeff

Lachlan Mineeff, a 22-year-old Australian racing driver hailing from the Southern Highlands, NSW, has quickly risen through the ranks of Australian motorsport. Mineeff's career began at the age of 9 in go-karts, progressing through local, state, and national competitions, culminating in the NSW Junior Karting Title in 2017. That same year, he transitioned to car racing, joining CHE Racing Team and winning a race in the NSW Formula Ford Championship, making him one of the youngest-ever Formula Ford race winners in Australia at just 14 years old. He continued his ascent in the Australian Formula Ford Championship, consistently finishing races and securing fifth place in 2018.

In 2021, Mineeff debuted in the competitive TCR Australia Series with his family-run Purple Sector Racing team, showcasing his talent behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf GTI. Despite having no prior experience with the car, he immediately impressed, finishing in the top 10 at Phillip Island. Switching to an Audi RS3 in 2022, he achieved multiple top-10 finishes. The 2023 season marked a significant breakthrough, with podium finishes at Symmons Plains, Phillip Island, and Sandown, leading Purple Sector Racing to its best-ever result of fifth in the championship.

Beyond TCR Australia, Mineeff has also demonstrated his versatility in other racing categories. He partnered with Shane Smollen in a Porsche GT4RS for a GT4 Australia event at Queensland Raceway, securing a win, a second, and a third-place finish. With experience in Formula Ford, TCR Australia, and GT racing, Lachlan Mineeff continues to build a promising career.
