Racing Driver Josh Rowledge

Joshua Rowledge is a rising star in British motorsport, showcasing impressive talent in both karting and car racing. Born on October 24, 2005, the now 19-year-old began his racing journey in grassroots motorsport, quickly making a name for himself on British and European circuits. His early successes include a third-place finish in the 2018 British Mini X30 Championship and becoming the Vice European Champion in the Junior X30 class in 2019, also securing the Winter Cup title the same year.

Transitioning to car racing in 2021, Rowledge entered the Ginetta Junior Championship, establishing himself as a driver to watch. He secured third in the Rookie Championship and won the Ginetta Junior Winter Series. In 2022, driving for R Racing, he clinched the Ginetta Junior Championship title, further solidifying his reputation as a promising talent. The Ginetta success opened doors, leading to his debut in a Porsche 992 Cup car in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe, achieving a creditable 5th place finish. In 2023, he joined DTO Motorsport in the British GT4 Championship, securing multiple pole positions and podiums. He also achieved an outright victory in the McLaren Trophy race at Spa.

In 2024, Rowledge stepped up to the GT3 class, joining Blackthorn Motorsport to race an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the British GT Championship, partnering with Matt Topham. He is also part of the Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy. Known for his speed and consistency, Rowledge's career trajectory points towards a bright future in the world of GT racing. He is a BRDC Rising Star, indicating his recognition as one of the UK's most promising young drivers.
