Jacques Duyver

Jacques Duyver is a Belgian racing driver who began his amateur racing career relatively late in life, at the age of 48 in 2013. Despite his late start, Duyver has achieved considerable success in a short period. He is noted as being second on the list of Belgian drivers with the most race wins. His initiation into racing came in the Ferrari Challenge support race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013. He found himself hooked and participated full-time in the Ferrari Challenge in 2014, finishing third overall for the season. In 2015, he won the Ferrari Challenge title.

Duyver's success extends beyond the Ferrari Challenge. In 2015 and 2016, he participated in races in the 458 GT3, including the British GT and the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi, securing the AM category title twice. Notably, three-time MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo was his co-driver in 2015. In 2017, he entered the Blancpain Endurance Series, competing against a field largely composed of professional drivers. A highlight of his career came with a class win at the Spa 24 Hours.

Duyver attributes his rapid success to several factors: consistent coaching from professional drivers, careful study of car telemetry, and a racing philosophy focused on consistency and bringing the car home, rather than simply chasing the fastest lap time. He has participated in Ferrari Challenge Europe, achieving notable results such as winning the Coppa Shell Europe in 2015.
