Racing Driver Jack Wallis

Jack Wallis is a 16-year-old Australian racing driver making waves in the world of motorsport. Hailing from South Australia, Wallis began his racing career in the highly competitive Hyundai Excel Series, where he spent 18 months honing his skills, culminating in a seventh-place finish in the 2024 standings. Now, Wallis is stepping up to the national stage, joining the Monochrome GT4 Australia series in 2025.

Wallis will be driving a Ford Mustang GT4, backed by Warrin Mining and Volvo Construction Dealers, as part of Wallis Motorsport, a family-run team. He'll be sharing driving duties with his father, Adam, a veteran of the V8 Touring Car Championship, and his uncle, Jed, who has raced in the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia. The team's primary focus is to provide Jack with valuable experience and exposure as he aims to progress his career, with aspirations of one day competing in the GT World Challenge Australia.

Wallis is eager to embrace the challenges of GT4 racing, including adapting to a more powerful car and competing against top-tier drivers on some of Australia's best circuits. He is preparing through sim training, focusing on race craft and fitness, while also relying on the mentorship of his family. His goals for the 2025 season are to gain as much experience as possible, improve his race pace and consistency, and establish himself as a competitive force in the GT4 field. The season opener will be at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries on April 4-6.
