Racing Driver Gresham Wagner

Gresham Wagner, born on August 21, 1997, is an accomplished American racing driver who has made a name for himself in the Mazda MX-5 Cup and Toyota GR Cup North America. Wagner's journey in motorsports began early, watching his father race. He started karting at the age of five and entered national karting at nine, competing in the WKA Manufacturer's Cup. However, his karting career faced a setback due to scoliosis and subsequent back surgery, leading to a temporary departure from the sport.

Wagner made a successful return to racing through the Skip Barber Racing School. He debuted in the MX-5 Cup Championship in 2019 and since 2020, has continued in the series with Spark Performance, earning several poles, podiums and wins. In 2022, he also earned the driver's championship in his debut season in the TCA class of Touring Car America, driving the new BRZ TCA for TechSport Racing. He helped TechSport Racing secure the team's championship that same year. In 2023, Gresham transitioned to the Toyota GR Cup series, achieving three wins and 11 podiums and the vice-championship, again aiding TechSport Racing in winning the team's championship.

2024 was a banner year for Wagner, securing both the Mazda MX-5 Cup and Toyota GR Cup championships. He is the second two-time champion in MX-5 Cup history and dominated the GR Cup with 10 wins in 14 races. Currently, in 2025, he is debuting in the SRO GT4 America Championship with support from Toyota Gazoo Racing North America as part of the Toyota Driver Development (TD2) program. Off the track, Gresham holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in communications from Christopher Newport University.
