David Cleto Fumanelli, born on April 21, 1992, is a versatile Italian racing driver and coach with experience spanning single-seaters and GT racing. Fumanelli began his single-seater career in 2008, participating in the Italian Formula Renault 2.0 series after two years in national karting. He moved to Spanish Formula 3 later that year, where a serious accident resulted in a six-month recovery period. He continued in Formula 3 for three full seasons, achieving "Best Rookie" in 2009 and finishing third overall in 2010 with three race wins and was the F3 European Open Vice-Champion in 2011. In 2012, he competed in the GP3 Series with MW Arden Team.

Transitioning to GT racing in 2014, Fumanelli debuted in the Blancpain GT Sprint Series with ROAL Motorsport, driving a BMW Z4 GT3. He secured the Silver Cup Vice-Champion title that season. He has also participated in the Renault Sport Trophy and the Ferrari Challenge Europe, where he won the Ferrari Master Show race in 2017. In 2016, he competed in the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. 2017 saw Fumanelli selected as a McLaren GT Junior Driver, racing for Strakka Racing in the Endurance series and select Sprint Series races.

More recently, Fumanelli has been active in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, securing two podiums in 10 races. In 2025, he is set to partner with Turkish driver Murat Ruhi Cuhadaroglu in the No. 33 Ferrari 296 GT3 for Kessel Racing.
