Racing Driver Augusto Farfus Overview

Augusto Farfus Jr. is a Brazilian professional racing driver and BMW Motorsport works driver. He was born in Curitiba, Brazil on September 3, 1983. He began his racing career in minibikes and karts, and quickly rose through the ranks of motorsport. In 2000, he won the Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup championship, and in 2002, he won the Formula 3000 Euroseries championship.

Farfus made his debut in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM) in 2005, and he has been a regular competitor in the series ever since. He has won four races in the DTM, and he finished second in the championship in 2013. Farfus has also competed in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC), and the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
