Racing Driver Anthony Bartone

Anthony Bartone, born on April 27, 2000, is an American sports car racing driver. He comes from a family deeply rooted in drag racing, with his father Tony and uncle Michael having successful careers in the NHRA. However, Anthony chose a different path, focusing on sports car racing. He started his journey under the guidance of Andy Pilgrim, a five-time sports car champion, and quickly demonstrated his talent on the track.

In 2022, Bartone began competing in SRO World Challenge GT4 America, GT Celebration, and International GT events, driving Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport cars. Alongside Pilgrim, he achieved wins and podium finishes. He also gained experience in European sports car racing, participating in the VW Fun Cup race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. By 2024, Bartone was competing in higher-profile European series, including the SRO World Challenge Europe Championship, GT International Open, and Asian Le Mans Series. A major highlight of his career came in 2024 with a class win at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, a prestigious GT3 race.

Driving a Bartone Bros Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3, Bartone has also partnered with Getspeed in various series, making his IMSA WeatherTech Championship debut at the Rolex 24 At Daytona in January 2025. His team was just crowned the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Top Alcohol Funny Car champion for 2024. Bartone’s ultimate goal is to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and he continues to climb the sports car racing ladder with a measured approach, honing his skills and gaining valuable experience along the way.
