Ishikawa's racing journey began in the Japanese Formula 3 Championship, where he competed in 2015 and 2016, finishing 7th and 8th respectively. He transitioned to Super GT in 2016, making his debut in the GT300 class for one round with Rn-sports. His full-season debut came the following year, racing with Rn-sports alongside Ryosei Yamashita.
In 2018, Ishikawa moved to Pacific with Gulf Racing, partnering with Rintaro Kubo in a Porsche 911 GT3 R. He then joined GAINER, teaming up with Kazuki Hoshino, and secured a race win that season.
