Racer Overview
Giuliano Alesi, born on September 20, 1999, is a French racing driver with Franco-Japanese heritage. He is the son of former Formula One Grand Prix winner Jean Alesi and Japanese actress and TV personality Kumiko Goto. Giuliano's career began in karting in 2013, and he quickly transitioned to single-seater racing, making his mark in French F4.
Alesi progressed through the ranks, competing in GP3 Series from 2016 to 2018 with Trident, achieving multiple wins and a personal best of fifth in the 2017 season. He then moved to Formula 2, also with Trident, and later with HWA Racelab and MP Motorsport. Since 2021, Alesi has been competing in Japanese racing series, including Super Formula and Super GT, initially with Toyota Team au TOM'S. In Super GT, he achieved a second-place finish at Fuji.
Alesi was a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy from 2016 to 2021, aligning himself with the same team his father famously raced for in F1. Recent results in the Super GT Japan - GT500 include a win at Sugo in September 2024 and a second-place finish at Suzuka in December 2024.
