Event Overview

The Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) 2025 continues with its tenth round, officially approved by the DMSB (Reg.-Nr. R-15135/25, approved on 29 September 2025). The event, titled the “Sportwarte Trophy”, will take place on 10–11 October 2025 at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, combined with the Sprint section of the Grand Prix circuit (including the Mercedes-Arena and Motorbike Chicane). The circuit length is 24.358 km, and races will run in a clockwise direction.

The event carries National A status, meaning all foreign competitors and drivers must provide authorization to compete from their respective ASN.

  • Drivers’ Briefings:

    Saturday 11 October 2025, 07:30 (German, for late arrivals)

  • Practice (untimed): Saturday 11 October 2025, from 08:22

  • Qualifying Practice: Saturday 11 October 2025, from 08:30

  • Starting Grid: Saturday 11 October 2025, from 11:10

  • Race Start: Saturday 11 October 2025, 12:00

  • Podium Ceremony: after the race

  • Award Ceremony: approx. 17:30, location to be announced via VLN App or loudspeaker

The race will last 4 hours with a rolling start in up to three starting groups (maximum 70 cars per group).

Entries and Fees

  • Entry Deadline: Wednesday 8 October 2025, 12:00 CET
  • Entry Confirmation: Sent via email after the deadline
  • Entry Fee Payment: Bank transfer only to VLN Sport GmbH & Co. KG, VR-Bank Bonn Rhein-Sieg (IBAN: DE45370695201761013013, BIC: GENODED1RST). Cash payments are not accepted.

Competitors must provide entry details, driver information, and start number with their payment.

Sporting Regulations

  • Each vehicle must complete at least one timed lap in qualifying to be eligible for the race.
  • Results will be classified in accordance with Articles 23–24 of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie 2025 sporting regulations.
  • Maximum number of starters: 210 cars (in training and race).
  • Eligible vehicles and class divisions follow Article 8.1 of the NLS 2025 Standard Regulations.

Technical & Fuel Regulations

  • Fuel: Only unleaded fuel (DIN EN 228, max. 103 RON) or diesel fuel (DIN EN 590) is permitted. Additives are prohibited.
  • Technical Checks: Can be performed at any time during the event.
  • Parc Fermé: Located at the northeast end of the paddock, behind pits 1–3. Vehicles must remain until released.

Protests, Appeals & Insurance

  • Protest Deposit: €300 (DMSB)
  • Appeal Deposit: €1,000 (DMSB), €6,000 (FIA)
  • Insurance: The event is covered under DMSB Event Regulations 2025 (Art. 35).
  • Liability: Exclusions apply under DMSB Event Regulations (Art. 36–40).

All participants are subject to FIA and DMSB authority and must comply with their decisions.


Summary:
The NLS 10 – Sportwarte Trophy 2025 will be held at the Nürburgring Nordschleife on 10–11 October. With strict FIA/DMSB regulations, a four-hour endurance format, and up to 210 starters, the event continues the long-standing tradition of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie as one of the premier endurance racing competitions in Germany.
