The CHINA GT Championship has officially announced its 2026 calendar. The new season features a rich schedule, featuring fierce competition at renowned racetracks both domestically and internationally.
Season Schedule
First Round: Shanghai International Circuit (April 17-19, 2026)
The season opener will take place at the Shanghai International Circuit. Known for its high-standard track facilities and comprehensive event organization, the Shanghai International Circuit has hosted numerous top international racing events. Drivers will begin the 2026 season here, vying for the first Grand Prix title.
Second Round: Zhuhai International Circuit (May 22-24, 2026)
In May, the race will move to the Zhuhai International Circuit. Zhuhai International Circuit is China's first permanent international racetrack, featuring a challenging track design with dramatic elevation changes and complex corners that will test drivers' skills and adaptability.
Stop 3: V1 Tianjin International Circuit (June 26-28, 2026)
In June, the CHINA GT series will return to the V1 Tianjin International Circuit. Featuring advanced facilities and a unique track layout, the circuit provides drivers with a stage for speed and passion.
Stop 4: Shanghai International Circuit (September 4-6, 2026)
In September, the series returns to the Shanghai International Circuit. Following the fierce competition in the previous rounds, the drivers' competition is expected to intensify, and the Shanghai race will lay a crucial foundation for the second half of the season.
Stop 5: Sepang International Circuit (November 27-29, 2026)
The season finale will be held at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. Sepang International Circuit is a renowned Asian racing venue, and its high-speed track and high temperatures are extremely challenging for both drivers and cars. Here, the drivers will make their final push for the championship.
Shanghai 8 Hours Endurance Race
In addition to the regular rounds, the Shanghai 8 Hours Endurance Race will be held at the Shanghai International Circuit on October 3-4, 2026. This endurance race places extremely high demands on driver fitness, teamwork, and car stability, and will be a highlight of this season's CHINA GT series.
