From September 6 to 8, 2024, the CTCC China Automobile Circuit Professional League completed a hot competition at Ningbo International Circuit. In the TCR China Championship, Huang Kuisheng of GYT Racing played steadily and successfully stepped onto the podium in the second round, winning the third place in the Club Driver Cup. This e-sports racing star has successfully transformed into an offline driver through unremitting efforts, and has proved with excellent results step by step that as long as you are down-to-earth, your racing dream can eventually come true.
From virtual to reality
Before participating in CTCC, Huang Kuisheng was already a well-known "car" star. Huang Kuisheng, who has loved cars since childhood, participated in model car competitions when he was young and won the championship. Later, he followed his dream of speed and became an e-sports driver. He won the Best Rookie of the Year in the F1 E-sports China Championship Professional League.

In 2023, Huang Kuisheng went from virtual to reality, completed his CTCC debut at the Shanghai Jiading Station, and actively participated in various events, and his racing experience and skills were increasingly improved.

Huang Kuisheng transformed from an e-sports driver to a real-life driver out of his desire to "rectify the name" of e-sports racing: "I am a professional e-sports racing player and coach, but all my previous racing experience was limited to the e-sports field. Before participating in CTCC, I had no contact with real racing sports. The main reason for my participation in the actual competition is to prove that excellent simulator players can also directly participate in the highest level of national racing competitions and win good results, and spend little money to do great things. Therefore, the sooner I can win the trophy on CTCC, a platform where top masters gather, the better, and time cost has become my biggest challenge. Looking back, the difficulties along the way are much more than I imagined, but I finally overcame all difficulties and completed my initial goal."

Happy to win the trophy, looking forward to continuous improvement
In the second round of the 2024 CTCC Ningbo Station, Huang Kuisheng played steadily and brought back the third place in the Club Driver Cup in the TCR China Championship, which was full of masters. Faced with the breakthrough in performance, Huang Kuisheng showed his rationality and calmness that has been tested in the field for a long time.

He believes that there is still room for improvement in his performance: "GYT Racing provided me with a great car in Ningbo, but I lost a lot of positions in the two starts due to lack of experience. Fortunately, my lap time can be ranked in the middle of the whole field, and I still won the podium of the Club Cup by gradually catching up."

The road is under your feet, and the dream is not far away
With the rapid development of the automobile sports industry, Chinese racing enthusiasts have ushered in the best time to participate in racing. The increasing popularity of karting and e-sports racing has provided car fans with an opportunity to learn about racing. Excellent competitions led by CTCC have also established a professional racing system from entry-level to top-level, creating a platform for drivers to continue to grow and advance.

Huang Kuisheng pointed out that the dream of racing is not far away. "In the process of participating in real racing, I discovered many differences between simulator driving and real car driving. By making good use of these experiences, my performance on the field has become more stable. I think in this era of simulator popularity, racing is not far away from ordinary car fans. As long as we do our best step by step, we can all realize our racing dreams."
