Dillon Battistini

Dillon Matthew Battistini, born on December 3, 1977, is a British race car driver hailing from Ewell, England. Battistini's career began in karting, where he achieved early success, finishing 3rd in the Junior European Championship and becoming the British Open Champion. He transitioned to cars and in 2003, he competed in the Caterham R400 Challenge, where he secured the most race wins and the Driver of the Year award, ultimately finishing 2nd in the championship.

Battistini's career progressed to Formula 3 in Asia, where he raced in China, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Australia. In 2007, he clinched the Asian Formula 3 Championship and the Pan Delta Chinese Formula 3 Championship, demonstrating his adaptability and skill in diverse racing environments. Following a Champ Car test with Minardi Team USA, he entered the Firestone Indy Lights Series in 2008 with Panther Racing. Battistini quickly made his mark, winning four races in his debut season, including the prestigious Freedom 100 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He also became a test driver for Panther Racing's IndyCar team.

After selected Indy Lights races in 2009 and a stint with Bryan Herta Autosport in 2010, Battistini made his IndyCar Series debut in 2011 with Conquest Racing. In recent years, he has diversified his racing experience, testing an LMP1 Lola with Dyson Racing in 2012 and an LMP2 Oreca-Nissan with Murphy Prototypes in 2014. In 2015, he gained experience with GT cars, testing Macmillan Racing's Aston Martin Vantage GT4. Currently, Dillon is a racing driver and driving coach living in the UK.
