Yuhi Sekiguchi

Yuhi Sekiguchi, born on December 29, 1987, is a Japanese racing driver with a diverse and successful career spanning multiple racing series. Currently, he competes in the GT500 class of the Super GT Series for TGR Team SARD. Sekiguchi's career began in various formula series, including Formula Toyota and All-Japan Formula Three, where he secured the championship title in 2011.

Sekiguchi made his Super GT debut in 2007 in the GT300 class, quickly making a name for himself by winning at Sportsland Sugo and becoming the youngest GT300 winner at the time. He transitioned to the GT500 class in 2013 and has since become a consistent frontrunner. His achievements in Super GT include multiple race wins, notably the 2018 Fuji GT 500 Mile Race and the 2019 Suzuka round, both alongside Kazuki Nakajima. A significant highlight of his career is winning the 2021 Super GT GT500 class championship with Sho Tsuboi.

Beyond Super GT, Sekiguchi has also competed in Super Formula, achieving seven victories, six pole positions, and thirteen podiums. His career reflects versatility and determination, solidifying his position as a respected figure in Japanese motorsports.
