Nicolas Armindo

Nicolas Armindo, born on March 8, 1982, is a French race car driver hailing from Colmar, France. Of Portuguese descent, Armindo began his racing journey in karting before transitioning to single-seaters. He launched his career in French Formula Campus in 2001 and subsequently competed in French Formula Renault (2002-2003) and Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup (2002-2003).

Armindo's career highlights include winning the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany in 2010 with Attempto Racing and securing third place in the 2009 FIA GT3 European Championship with the Rosberg team, driving an Audi R8 LMS. In 2005, he participated in the FIA GT Championship race in Istanbul, earning points with a fifth-place finish in his class. He also holds the record for the fastest lap time in the 6th round of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup.

Throughout his career, Nicolas Armindo has been associated with teams such as IMSA Performance in the Le Mans Series and Hermes Attempto Racing in the German Porsche Carrera Cup, winning both the Driver's and Team titles in the Carrera Cup in 2010. He's also made guest appearances for Lechner Racing in the Supercup, achieving a win in Hockenheim. In 2011, he raced in the Le Mans Series in a Porsche 997 GT3 RSR with Raymond Narac, winning the GTE-AM class title. He has participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, even switching to the GTE-Pro class in 2011. Furthermore, he drove a Porsche 997 GT3 R in the ADAC GT Masters and the 24 Hours of Dubai.
