Deborah Mayer

Deborah Mayer is a French racing driver and entrepreneur who has made significant contributions to motorsport, both on and off the track. Born on August 10, 1977, Mayer's passion for racing led her to compete in various GT series, including the Blancpain GT Series and the Michelin Le Mans Cup. Notably, she has raced with Kessel Racing and Iron Lynx, piloting Ferrari 458 and 488 GT3 cars.

Beyond her driving career, Mayer is best known as the founder of Iron Dames, an all-female racing team launched in 2018. The Iron Dames project aims to support women in motorsport at all levels, from drivers to mechanics and engineers, providing them with opportunities to compete and succeed in a traditionally male-dominated environment. The team has achieved considerable success, including becoming the first all-female team to win a race in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Mayer also served as the President of the FIA's Women in Motorsport Commission from 2022 to 2023, where she spearheaded global initiatives to promote gender equality in the sport. In 2024, she was honored with the Spirit of Le Mans Trophy for her work with Iron Dames and her dedication to advancing women in motorsport.
