Charlie Postins

Charlie Postins is a racing driver hailing from the United Kingdom. With a family history deeply rooted in the automotive world – his father, Bill Postins, was a touring car racer, and his grandfather, Ted Loades, founded Abbey Panels, responsible for Jaguar C-type prototypes and the XJ220, Charlie's passion for motorsports was ignited early on. He honed his skills in various racing disciplines, including karts, Formula First, and the Renault UK Clio Cup, where he achieved a notable third-place finish in 1996. He also finished fourth in the 1993 British Formula First Championship.

After a hiatus from racing to pursue a career in automotive design and later, a pet food business, Postins returned to the sport with renewed vigor. He has participated in the challenging Nürburgring 24-Hour race multiple times, securing a class fourth in 2020. In 2017, he secured a class victory with James Clay in the Thunderhill 25-hour race.

More recently, Postins has been partnered with James Clay in the SRO GT4 America Am class, driving a BMW M4 GT4. Together, they achieved significant success, including winning the SRO GT4 America Am class Championship in 2022 with seven class victories and the prestigious BMW Sports Trophy. They claimed the SRO AM Championship again in 2023, winning another 7 races. Beyond racing, Postins had a career as an automotive clay sculpture, working for brands such as Saab, Audi, VW, Rolls Royce and Porsche. He also lived in San Diego for ten years working at Nissan Design America. He currently runs a successful pet food business, The Honest Kitchen, with his wife.
