Alec Udell

Alec Udell, born on November 28, 1995, is an accomplished American racing driver hailing from Houston, Texas. Udell's career began with karting at age five, where he secured the 2008 Rotax National Championship. He then represented Team USA at the Rotax Grand Finals in Egypt in 2009. Udell transitioned to professional racing at just 15, becoming the youngest driver to compete in the Pirelli World Challenge. He pursued his education alongside racing, earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from Clemson University in 2018.

Udell has achieved significant success in various racing series. He won the 2019 SRO GT4 European Series Silver Cup Championship, marking the first time an American had won that title. In 2016, he secured the Pirelli World Challenge GT3 Cup championship. Other notable achievements include the 2013 NASA Pro American Iron National Championship and a NASA Texas region championship in Spec Miata in 2012. Udell was also a 2015 Porsche Young Driver Academy graduate.

Currently, Udell is driving for DXDT Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, piloting the Corvette Z06 GT3R. In 2024, he secured eight wins and a second-place finish in the SRO Drivers Championship in the Pro Class with co-driver Tommy Milner. With over 150 career starts, 22 wins, 18 pole positions, and numerous podium finishes, Alec Udell has established himself as a formidable talent in the world of motorsports. He also launched an online coaching academy, building on his years of coaching success in the Porsche GT3 Cup series.
