Dougie Bolger

Dougie Bolger is a racing driver hailing from the United Kingdom, with a passion for motorsport ignited at a very young age. Born in Tokyo in 2004 to British and Japanese parents, Bolger began karting at the age of three and racing from the age of six, quickly ascending the ranks in Japan. He secured back-to-back championships at the annual Haruna Cup before venturing into leading British karting championships, demonstrating his talent on the world stage.

His career progressed through the ranks, achieving notable success with Fusion Motorsport, including a first-place ranking in Japan's karting scene and podium finishes in British, LGM, and Japanese kart series. Bolger's potential was recognized by McLaren Racing, leading to his inclusion in their DNA Young Driver Programme in 2019. After a COVID-impacted 2020 season, he transitioned to single-seaters in 2021, competing in the British F4 Championship. In 2022, while focusing on his studies, Bolger regularly participated in Radical championships, earning the 2022 Achievement Award.

In 2023, Bolger partnered with Dilantha Malagamuwa to compete in the European Super Trofeo, marking his entry into GT racing. Despite being new to GT racing, Bolger showed promise, achieving a best finish of 11th in the Pro category at Valencia. His ultimate ambition is to reach Formula One, fueled by his dedication and a desire to become Japan's first F1 World Champion.
