Pangkalahatang-ideya ng Racer
Daniel Johannes Abt, born on December 3, 1992, is a German former racing driver and entrepreneur. He is the son of Hans-Jürgen Abt, owner and team principal of Abt Sportsline, and the nephew of racing driver Christian Abt. Daniel's early exposure to motorsport ignited his passion, leading him to karting from 2001 to 2007. In 2008, he transitioned to ADAC Formel Masters, claiming the championship title in 2009. He continued his ascent through German Formula Three, GP3, and GP2, showcasing his talent with a runner-up finish in the 2012 GP3 Series.
Abt is most recognized for his participation in the FIA Formula E Championship with Audi Sport ABT, where he secured two race victories, including a memorable "clean sweep" at his home race in Berlin in 2018, achieving pole position, the race win, and the fastest lap. He also achieved multiple podium finishes over six seasons, solidifying his presence in electric racing. After a controversial end to his Audi tenure in 2020, he briefly raced for Nio 333 before stepping back from competitive driving.
Since his hiatus from racing, Abt has taken on a broadcasting role with Sat.1, providing commentary for Formula E coverage. He is also the CEO of Abt Lifestyle GmbH and maintains an active presence on social media, offering insights into his life and the automotive world through his YouTube channel. Abt's career reflects his diverse talents, from racing to digital content creation and entrepreneurship, making him a notable figure in and beyond motorsport.
