Reema Juffali

Reema Juffali, born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on January 18, 1992, has etched her name in motorsport history as the first female racing driver from Saudi Arabia. Her journey began with a keen interest in cars from a young age, culminating in obtaining her racing license in 2017 after the ban on women drivers in Saudi Arabia was lifted. Juffali's career took off in 2018, marking her debut as a professional racer and securing a major victory in December of the same year.

In 2019, she represented Saudi Arabia in the F4 British Championship and became the first Saudi woman to participate in an international racing competition in her home country, competing in the Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy in Riyadh. Continuing her ascent, Juffali participated in the 2021 GB3 Championship and made her endurance racing debut at the 2022 Dubai 24 Hours, finishing second.

Driven by a vision to enhance Saudi Arabian participation in motorsport, Juffali founded Theeba Motorsport in 2022. The team competes in the International GT Open and aims to become the first Saudi team to race at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans. Juffali's accomplishments have earned her recognition as an inspiration and role model, with the BBC naming her one of the world's most inspiring and influential women in 2022. In 2023, she made history as the first female racing driver to claim a pole position in the Sprint Cup for Theeba Motorsport in the GT World Challenge Europe.
