The Ferrari Challenge Europe is a prestigious single-make motorsport championship that was inaugurated in 1993, making it the longest-running championship in Ferrari's history.
This FIA-approved series is managed by Ferrari's Corse Clienti department and offers Ferrari owners the opportunity to compete in a professional racing environment on some of Europe's most iconic circuits. The championship is divided into several classes to ensure fair competition among drivers with varying levels of experience. These categories include the Trofeo Pirelli for professional drivers, Trofeo Pirelli Am for amateur drivers, Coppa Shell for more experienced drivers over the age of 50, and Coppa Shell Am for less experienced drivers in the same age group. This structure allows both seasoned racers and gentlemen drivers to vie for victory. Throughout its history, the series has featured a range of iconic Ferrari models, starting with the 348 Challenge and evolving to the current 296 Challenge. The European series is a key component of the global Ferrari Challenge, which also includes championships in North America, the United Kingdom, and Japan. The season culminates in the Finali Mondiali (World Finals), where top competitors from all regional series come together to compete for the coveted world champion title.
