Intercontinental GT Challenge

The Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC), established in 2016 by the SRO Motorsports Group, is the premier global GT3 championship, uniting iconic endurance races across multiple continents. Unlike traditional series, IGTC allows manufacturers to support local teams, promoting a diverse and competitive field. The 2025 season features five renowned events: the Bathurst 12 Hour in Australia, the Nürburgring 24 Hours in Germany, the 24 Hours of Spa in Belgium, the Suzuka 1000 km in Japan, and the Indianapolis 8 Hour in the United States. This structure enables manufacturers to showcase their vehicles' performance and reliability in varied conditions, contributing to the championship's prestige. In 2024, Porsche secured the manufacturers' championship, while Charles Weerts clinched the drivers' title, underscoring the high level of competition within the series.
