Prezentare Generală a Cursantului

Greg Mills is a South African racing driver with a diverse background both on and off the track. A grandson of pre-war Grand Prix driver Billy Mills, Greg has carved his own path in motorsport, receiving national colors for motorsport in 2016, and provincial colors for both rowing and motorsport. His passion extends beyond driving, as he also serves as the President of the Western Province Motor Club (appointed in 2019) and is a board member of Motorsport SA and a member of the FIA's Historic Commission. He's also penned eight books on Southern African motorsport.

In 2019, Mills spearheaded the first South African team to participate in the Road to Le Mans, driving a Bentley GT3. More recently, he's been involved with Team Africa Le Mans, a team of unpaid volunteers and friends dedicated to racing for charitable causes, specifically anti-poaching efforts. They have participated in races such as the Paul Ricard 24-hour, the 12-hour of Imola, and the 24-hour at Misano, achieving podium finishes in some of these events.

Outside of racing, Greg Mills is also the director of the Johannesburg-based Brenthurst Foundation, focusing on strengthening African economic performance, and has worked extensively with African governments on reform projects. He holds degrees from the Universities of Cape Town and Lancaster, and his writings have earned him the Recht Malan Prize for Non-Fiction Work in South Africa.
