Vittorio Ghirelli, born on May 9, 1994, in Fasano, Italy, is a highly accomplished Italian racing driver with a diverse and successful career spanning various motorsport categories. Ghirelli's journey began in karting before transitioning to open-wheel racing, where he competed in series such as Italian Formula Three, GP3 Series, Formula Renault, and Indy Lights. A significant milestone in his career came in 2013 when he clinched the Auto GP championship.
More recently, Ghirelli has made a name for himself in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. He joined the series in 2019 and quickly demonstrated his talent, securing two podium finishes in his debut season. In 2020, he won the EuroNASCAR 2 championship with Hendriks Motorsport, showcasing his skills with five wins, eight top-five finishes, and nine top-ten finishes.
