Roman Shane de Beer, born on October 6, 1994, is a former South African racing driver. De Beer's career began in karting in 1999, where he spent most of his time racing in South Africa. He progressed through the junior ranks and ultimately won the ROK Cup International Final in 2010.
In 2010, De Beer transitioned to single-seaters, joining the Formula Abarth series in Italy with Scuderia Victoria World. He achieved podium finishes at Imola, Varano, and Vallelunga, finishing ninth overall in his first season. He continued in Formula Abarth in 2011, securing another podium at Misano. 2012 saw De Beer competing in the Italian Formula Three Championship with Scuderia Victoria, where he finished twelfth in the standings.
De Beer stepped up to the GP3 Series in 2014 with Trident. He participated in 10 races, with his best finish being 18th.
