Omar Ismail is a racing driver hailing from the United Kingdom. Born on May 6, 1999, Ismail began his motorsport career in karting, achieving success at the national level. In 2012, he finished third in the Shenington and Whilton Mill Kart Club championships. He further honed his skills in the Rotax Euro Challenge in 2013.
Ismail transitioned to single-seater racing in 2015, joining Chris Dittmann Racing for the BRDC F4 Championship. Despite missing the initial races due to age restrictions, he quickly made an impact, securing a pole position and a race win at Snetterton in only his second weekend. He finished ninth overall in the championship, an impressive feat considering he didn't compete in every round. In 2016, Ismail joined HHC Motorsport for a full season in BRDC F4. In 2017, Ismail returned to Chris Dittmann Racing in the BRDC British F3.
