Timo BERNHARD

Timo Bernhard, born on February 24, 1981, is a former German racing driver. Known for his versatility and success in various racing disciplines, Bernhard is considered one of the most accomplished endurance racers of the 21st century.

Bernhard's career is closely linked to Porsche, where he became a factory driver after joining the Porsche Junior program in 1999. He is the only Porsche factory driver to have achieved victories in every sportscar category offered by the manufacturer. His achievements include winning the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany in 2001, securing the GT title in the American Le Mans Series in 2004, and claiming the LMP2 championship in 2007 and 2008 with the RS Spyder.

His most significant accomplishments include overall victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2010 (with Audi) and 2017 (with Porsche), as well as five overall wins at the 24 Hours Nürburgring. In 2018, he set a new track record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife with the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo, completing the lap in 5:19.55 minutes. After retiring as a Porsche factory driver in December 2019, Bernhard became a Porsche brand ambassador. He also manages his own team, KÜS Team75 Bernhard, with his father, Rüdiger.
