Hiroaki Nagai

Hiroaki Nagai is a Japanese racing driver born on April 6, 1968, making him 56 years old. He currently competes in the Super GT Series. Nagai began his four-wheeled racing career in 2012 in the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan, where he won the Gentleman Class series championship. He progressed to the Champion Class the following year and then to Overall in 2014. He also participated in the Inter Proto series for two seasons starting in 2013.

In 2015, Nagai competed full-time in the Porsche Carrera Cup Overall, finishing on the podium in the final race at Suzuka and ranking fourth overall. Concurrently, he participated in the Super Taikyu ST-X class, achieving two podium finishes. He also entered FIA-F4 from the fifth race to the final race. According to Driver Database, Nagai has started in 134 races, entered 135, with 2 wins and 13 podiums, and 1 fastest lap. His career highlight is winning the 2017 Super Taikyu Series ST-X. In the GT World Challenge Asia 2023 at Suzuka International Circuit, Nagai, along with Yuta Kamimura, finished 3rd in their Porsche 911 GT3 R (992).
