Shinji TAKEI

Shinji Takei is a Japanese racing driver with a long and storied career in motorsports. Born on June 21, 1969, Takei has demonstrated a passion for racing, most notably participating in the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan series. He is also the CEO of BINGO Sports, a Tokyo-based company specializing in sports and hypercars, with expertise in car collecting, sales, and various aspects of motorsports.

Takei's recent racing team was BINGO Racing. He has secured a total of 34 podium finishes, including 19 wins, 9 second-place finishes, and 6 third-place finishes, across 38 races. In 2024, he achieved multiple podiums in the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan and Japan Cup Series. He has raced in series such as the Japan Cup Series, Porsche Carrera Cup Japan, and Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia. Throughout his career, Takei has driven race cars such as the Corvette C7 GT3-R and the Porsche 992.1 GT3 Cup.

In June 2023, Takei, along with Akira Iida, secured an overall win at Fuji Speedway in the GT World Challenge Asia, marking the first SRO competition victory for the C7 GT3-R.
