Jesse Krohn, born on September 3, 1990, in Nurmijärvi, Finland, is a highly accomplished professional racing driver currently representing BMW Motorsport as a works driver. His career began at the young age of six in karting, where he honed his skills for nine years before transitioning to car racing in 2005. Krohn quickly made a name for himself, securing multiple championship wins early on, including the Finnish, Northern European Zone (NEZ), and Estonian Formula Renault titles in 2008. He also won the 2017-18 Asian Le Mans Series GT Drivers title.

Krohn's career has seen him compete in various prestigious series, including the IMSA SportsCar Championship, FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), and European Le Mans Series. A significant milestone came in 2020 when he won the GTLM class at the Daytona 24 Hours and also the title in the GTLM class of the Michelin Endurance Cup. As of 2024, he secured a full-season IMSA GTP drive with BMW Team RLL, partnering with Philipp Eng in the #24 BMW M Hybrid V8.

Coming from a racing family, with his father, Pertti Kurki-Suonio, also a former racing driver, motorsport is in Jesse's blood. His sister Jenni and brother Oskari also race in their native Finland. Krohn's favorite track is the Nordschleife, his favorite current driver is Rovanperä, and all-time favorite is Alex Zanardi. Krohn continues to strive for success, aiming to become one of the most successful Finnish racers outside of Formula 1.
