Lorenzo Colombo

Lorenzo Colombo, born on September 13, 2000, is a talented Italian racing driver with a diverse motorsport background. Beginning his racing journey in karting in 2009, Colombo predominantly competed in Italy, achieving a notable second place in the Andrea Margutti Trophy. His transition to car racing came in 2016, debuting in the Italian F4 Championship with BVM Racing. He finished 12th overall. The following year, racing for Bhaitech, he improved to third in the standings, securing two victories.

Colombo's career progressed through various Formula Renault series, including the Eurocup, where he consistently challenged for top positions. In 2018, he finished 6th in the Formula Renault Eurocup. He continued to impress in the Eurocup, finishing 4th in 2019 and 5th in 2020. He also participated in the FIA Formula 3 Championship in 2021 with Campos Racing, achieving 15th in the standings. In 2022, Colombo ventured into sportscar racing, joining Prema Orlen Team in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Colombo's early career was marked by his participation in the Ferrari Driver Academy assessments at Fiorano in both 2016 and 2017, showcasing his potential to one of motorsport's most prestigious teams. He has also won the Automobile Club d'Italia's Supercorso Federale twice, highlighting his skills in karting and junior formula racing.
