Angus Fender

Angus Fender is a 24-year-old racing driver from the United Kingdom with ambitions to reach the top levels of motorsport. Born on August 16, 2000, Fender's passion for racing began at a young age, growing up surrounded by cars and engineering thanks to his family's involvement in classic car sales and restoration.

Fender's career has seen him compete in various championships and achieve considerable success. He is an ARDS qualified racing instructor. In karting, he was crowned British Vice-Champion in 2016. Progressing to car racing, he participated in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge in 2017 before moving to the GT4 Supercup, where he secured 2 pole positions and 8 podiums in the following season. 2019 marked his debut in the British GT Championship, achieving two podiums in the final two rounds while driving both a BMW M4 GT4 and a BMW M6 GT3. In 2020, he secured two overall podiums in the British GT Championship racing with 2Seas Motorsport in a McLaren 720S GT3.

More recently, Fender has demonstrated his versatility by achieving class wins in the Silverstone Classic, claiming a British Endurance Championship victory at Oulton Park in his Dodge Viper CC GT3 and winning the Barcelona 24 Hours in a Ginetta G55 GT4. In 2022, he returned to the British GT Championship, driving the BMW M4 GT3. Angus has also expanded his involvement in Fender-Broad and acquired a Ligier JS2R for European races, forming his own team. He earned his ARDS Racing Instructor qualification in early 2024.
